Everywhere I look, people are counting down to Christmas! Can we please get to Thanksgiving first? I seriously have to get through one holiday before I can go to the next. With that said, I do enjoy creating Christmas cards all year long. Possibly a contradiction, but I think creating cards vs all out decorating are two different things! This have been a crazy year, so I am slightly behind on the Christmas card making. Which brings me to another CAS card featuring the Yuletide BordersThin Cuts. I just love this set! This version features Candy Apple Red and Evergreen. I chose my colors based on the color challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown.
My card is super simple to create and is a great way to use up some scraps. I cut two of the borders in White Daisy cardstock and then alternated squares of Candy Apple and Evergreen cardstock underneath. I added borders along the edges as well. Great use of the scrap pile! My sentiment was cut in Candy Apple. A few strands of Silver Embellishing Thread and Bitty Sequins finish off the card. In case you missed the Yuletide Bordersset previously, here is the complete set-
