Atlantic Hearts Sketch #408

 

Time for a new sketch challenge at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge!  As much as I try to stay on top of birthday’s, it seems I always end up missing one.  A brightly colored, belated birthday card is just what I need for the card stash!  Here is the original sketch design-

My card is created with the Party Time Collection of papers and the On Your Birthday stamp set.  I love the mix of fonts and the variety of belated sentiments that are included in the set.  Here is a look at the complete set-

My card is on the simple side, just a few layers of paper.  The background on the Nectarine strip was created with the February Stamp of the Month, Doodled Borders. The bunch of balloons is from the Party Time sticker sheet.  I mounted the sticker onto Raspberry cardstock and then applied with 3-D foam tape.  A bit of shimmer was added to the polka dot balloons with a clear shimmer brush. A few bitty sparkles finish off the card.

  4. Birthdays are hard to remember… totally agreed. I really like the clean lines on your card and it's a great way to use the Doodle Borders stamp 🙂
