Time for a new sketch challenge at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge. I changed things up a bit from the original sketch design. I don’t have large banner dies in my collection and I could spend days trying to get the perfect hand cut banners! My craft room is in a current state of chaos, so using the Cricut was out of the question. I did have some hexagon Thin Cuts that were needing some love though, hence my take on the sketch. Here is the original design for you to play along-
My card is created with a fun mix of papers from the You are Enough Collection. I went with monochrome Glacier to keep the design from getting too busy. You could easily recreate the card in a variety of color schemes from the same paper pack. There are numerous gorgeous options available with the You are Enough promotion. If you want them all, you can save 30% when you purchase the bundle. You can find all the options available here.
My card is super simple to create. I started with a 5″ x 5″ card base and added my hexagons in layers. My top layers were applied with 3-D foam tape for added dimension. My sentiment was stamped in coordinating Glacier ink. The butterfly die was only glued down the center to allow the wings to have flight.

I love how you interpreted this week’s sketch by swapping out banners for hexagons. What fun! I also love the papers that you chose. Thankks for inspiring me today!
