Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #306

I am a huge fan of burlap….it is my go to accessory for masculine cards.  I love the added texture and it easily replaces the more feminine ribbon. My card is based on the sketch challenge at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.

I am still experimenting with the Prima watercolor pencils.  Watercolor is really a stretch for me.  I really like everything neat and tidy…while I love the free flowing look of watercolor…the struggle is real! More practice to come.

  2. This is a perfect masculine card. The texture of the burlap goes well with your paper choices. I learned to love watercolor…still not good, but it is really fun. Keep practicing!! I think starting with the pencils is great for those of us who want things neat. The 'no line watercolor' technique is another good step. Thank you so much for sharing with us at AHSC this week.
