Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #433

Time for a new sketch challenge at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge! I just love the color combo of Sundance and Sapphire. The yellow really pops against the blue and instantly makes me think of sunshine. I strayed slightly from the sketch, so here is the original sketch design for you to create with.

The inspiration for my design, started with the bold zip strip that is included in the Mix In paper pack. The fun denim print is from the same sheet. The Mix In paper packs include 6 sheets of pattern paper that coordinate perfectly with the current paper packs. I brought in the Sundance print from the Wander Collection for a bold pop of color. The die cut scene is created with the Wander Cardmaking kit. The dies in this kit are a must have addition to your crafting collection! Here is a look at the complete kit-

The mountain scene was die cut three times, once in White Daisy and twice in Pebble. On the white die cut, I sponged on a cloud background with Carolina ink and stamped my sentiment in Sapphire ink. I selectively cut my mountains and added a bit of texture by randomly stamping the texture stamp in Pebble ink. I then mounted the mountains in layers with foam tape onto my circle. The sun was die cut three times out of Sundance cardstock for additional dimension. A layered banner strip completes the sketch design. The same texture stamp was applied to the sun and banner strip.
