Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #449

Hello, Hello….I have finally made it back to my craft room! What a long two weeks it has been! Long story short, never expect a home repair project to only take a couple of days. I even projected four days to play it safe, nevertheless….two weeks later and here we are! We have a new sketch challenge this week at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge. I might have strayed ever so slightly from the original design, so here is the sketch for you to create with-

While, I was unable to get to my craft room….that did not stop me from shopping for craft supplies! Fairly certain we have all decided that collecting craft supplies and using craft supplies are two different hobbies. Since, I could not partake in the using of craft supplies, I decided to work on the collecting side! Lots of new supplies in this creation with a touch of old favorites.

I started my card by die cutting a panel of The First Noel paper by Echo Park and matting with New England Ivy cardstock. To follow along with the sketch, a 1 1/2″ strip of burlap cardstock was added down the center. A tag was cut in French Vanilla cardstock and matted in New England Ivy. Second generation stamping was used to add some texture to the tag. Elements from the Simple Stories Woodland Bits Collection was added with 3-D foam tape. A few strips of seam binding ribbon was added to the tag with a twine bow. The completed card was splattered with a gold shimmer pen with a few gold glitter gems added for a touch of bling.

All supplies by Close To My Heart, except where noted:
