Autumn Greetings

Autumn Greetings, friends! I am so happy to be back in the craft room! This past week has been super crazy…way too much adulting and way too little crafting time! I honestly try and set aside a few hours each day to create and find my sanity, so when I say this last week has been crazy…it truly has! Now, back to crafting and to find my sanity! I am playing along with the sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches to help me get my crafty mojo back!

Autumn has made it to the mountains, with Winter close on it’s heels. If I had to pick, I would choose Autumn has my favorite season. I love the cooler temps and the gorgeous fall colors. My card is super simple to create. I used the Rock N Roll technique to create my multi-colored leaf. I first stamped my leaf image in Nectarine ink and then rolled the edges of the leaf in Desert Rose ink. The image was then die cut with the coordinating die. I added a bit of bling with a gold shimmer brush. A tiny burlap bow adds some texture. The completed leaf was mounted with 3-D foam tape for added dimension.
