If you haven’t noticed, I love coloring up this bouquet of flowers. I have stamped multiple images and put them in my pencil case. When time permits, I break out the pencils and color in a few blooms! I created this card based on the sketch challenge at Tuesday Morning Sketches–
I downloaded this sketch last week and just realized today is the last day to enter the challenge! I decided to run with the yellow theme. Yellow is certainly one of those Be Happy Colors! The yellow gingham paper is part of the Craft On paper collection. I inked up a textured background stamp from Strokes of an Artist to create the rectangle behind my bouquet. If you happen to be like me and random swiping and splotches are not your thing, this is the set for you! I so love the look of the random swipes, but the reality is….I spend way too much trying to make them perfect! Stamps totally save me! I have total trust in the stamp designer making the swipes! My bouquet is from the February Stamp of the Month, Cherishing Her. The bouquet is stamped in Intense Black ink and then colored with Prismacolor pencils. I blended out the colors with Gamsol.
