Birthday Greetings CASE Study

I totally missed out on the CASE Studychallenge last week. I had my stamps and paper picked out…..then before I knew it, the challenge was over!  Not going to let that happen this week, so here is my card for the CASE Study challenge!  Here is the inspiration photo byLaura Bassen

I was drawn to the vibrant colors in Laura’s card as well as the layout.  The minute I saw her card, these felt flowers came to mind.  I have passed them by multiple times in my embellishment drawer.  They were finally given their chance to shine.    I followed the same layout scheme.  I did not have any twine that matched my color scheme exactly, so I layered the grosgrain ribbon.  Supplies used are once again a hodge podge of products.  I have been re-organizing my scrapbook room, which has lead to many oldies surfacing.  I believe the felt flowers, ribbon and cardstock are from an old SU card kit.  All stamps are by Close To My Heart-
