Bloom with Grace

I so love all of the sunflower themed items in the new catalog!  I have been a under the weather for the past two months and have not been able to showcase the new products. Thankfully, I have finally found the solution to my issues and am back in the craft room!  I have missed out on playing along with my favorite sketch challenges.  When I first saw the sketch challenge at Fusion Card Challenge, I knew it was a Bloom with Grace card in the making!  My card is based on the sketch challenge, I simply flipped the sketch to fit my sentiment.

My card is super simple.  I started with the gorgeous sunflower pattern paper from the Bloom with Grace Collection and then added cardstock strips and a print strip on the side. A twine bow finishes off the card.  The thanks is a new layered die, which features two dies.  The letters and a shadow die.  My shadow is cut from vellum and the letters are from the Wood Grain paper pack.  The great mix of wood tones goes perfectly with the sunflowers.  Here is a look at the complete pack-

  1. That's a very pretty card. I hadn't seen the vellum until after I read your post. (Thought you used the negative of the die cut with brown paper beneath.) What a great idea to use vellum as a shadow. I like the subtle look.

Thanks for joining us at Cut it Up for our Happy Fall, Y’all + 3 Layers challenge!
