CAS Birthday Card

I am a fan of the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge Blog.  All entries are required to be Clean and Simple.  While I love to play with layers….it is nice to complete a quick striking card.  The challenge this week is to complete a card with chipboard in the CAS style.  This card gives you a very small sneak peek of a new stamp set, Just a Number.  Just A Number is a birthday sayings set that will be featured in the 2012 Spring/Summer Idea Book.   The set has some very cute sayings that I am sure you will love.  The set was a must have for me!  All supplies by Close To My Heart, except where noted.

D1514 Just A Number (Available 2/1/12)

1385 White Daisy Cardstock

Z1225 Flurry Dimensional Elements

Z679 Liquid Glass

Tuxedo Black Ink by Memento

B29 Ultramarine Copic Sketch

Y15 Cadmium Yellow Copic Sketch

RV29 Crimson Copic Sketch

I colored the chipboard stars with my Copic markers and then applied the Liquid Glass.   I made a few of these earlier in the week and love how they turned out.

I have entered this card in the following challenges:

Anything Goes Challenge-Anything Goes

CAS-ual Fridays-CAS with chipboard

Lily Pad Cards-Use Chipboard

The Crafter’s Café-Birthday

Thanks for stopping by.  More sneak peeks to come!
