CASE Study Butterflies

The
moment I saw this week’s CASE study, I knew I wanted to create a card with
butterflies.  I also had to resist the
urge to buy a new set of butterfly stamps just for the occasion!  My stamp collection seems to be severely
lacking in the butterfly department!  Years
ago I picked up a paper packet at Hobby Lobby with a butterfly theme.  BINGO, great butterflies do exist in my
stash!  Here is the card inspiration from
CASE Study

This
card was created by Agnieszka
Malyszek
. I loved the butterflies, woodgrain texture, the lace, tag embellishment, well….all of it!  I captured many of the elements in my card.

I added butteflies, lace, and the woodgrain texture to my tag.

I used a variety of supplies:

 Z1686 Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge

D1477 Universal Backgrounds

Inspiration Paper Packet-The Paper Studio

X5643 Chocolate Cardstock-CTMH

1388 Colonial White Cardstock-CTMH

Z2111 Chocolate Ink-CTMH

Z2211 Chocolate Reinker-CTMH

Antique Linen Distress Stain-Ranger

Old Paper Distress Stain-Ranger

Z1732 Seam Binding Ribbon-CTMH

Lace Trim-Reasonable Ribbon

Design Tips- I colored my seam binding ribbon with chocolate reinker.  I colored my lace trim with a combination of Antique Linen and Old Paper Distressing Ink. I cut the tag shape with the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge and then stamped with the woodgrain background.

I have also entered this card in the following challenges:
