CAS(E) this Sketch #362

I created a super simple birthday card for the CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge.  The moment I saw the sketch, I knew the Sentiments stamp set by Melissa Esplin would be a perfect fit. In keeping with the sketch, I added in my favorite kitty stamp and a bouquet of birthday balloons.

To create my card, I started with a stitched die cut panel.  I then stamped my Happy Birthday sentiment in Intense Black along the bottom.  The black lines were hand drawn with a Copic Multi-Liner and a straight edge.  My kitty and balloons were stamped in Intense Black ink and then fussy cut.  I added a tiny bit of color to my kitty with Copic markers.  My balloons are paper pieced together.  I am on a mission to use up my scraps!  I stamped my balloons on water color scraps and fussy cut them out.  I adhered the balloons and my kitty with 3-D foam tape for added dimension.  My panel was matted in back and adhered to a white card base. If you are in need of bold sentiments for your collection, the Melissa Esplin set is perfect-
