My original vision for this card did not pan out. I had planned on messy watercolor stripes, but I struggle with making messy, mixed media cards! I made multiple attempts and decided I needed to move on. I took heavy inspiration from Chrissy Larson for my card, as I loved her clean lines! My card is based on the sketch challenge at CAS(E) this Sketch–
My card is super simple, a few strips of cardstock from the scrap pile made into a die cut panel. I heat embossed my sentiment to make sure that it stood out on the dark green cardstock. And of course, I had to add in my favorite little graduation cap stamp!

I struggle with messy too Allisa so was pleased to see you had gone with a clean and graphic design for this one like me!! Love the little graduation cap detail and that you could tailor this design easily to school colours. Great card!
This is a striking colour combination. The way you've kept the design to the bottom of the card and left all that lovely white space really makes a statement. Thanks for playing along with us at Retro Rubber Challenge.
I really love your colour combo and how you have interpreted the sketch with stripes! Thanks for playing along with H2H challenges.
Love this card! It is so stunning but simple! I have though about making free graduation cards for my neighborhood. I may have to scrap lift this design and make some. Thank you for joining us at Heart 2 Heart.
Love the bold colors on your card, great card for the graduate.
