Christmas Blessings

Have you started your holiday cardmaking?  If not, the clock is ticking!  I am a bit behind in my holiday crafting, so you can expect to start seeing multiple Christmas cards.  Today, I am doing a remake of the Craft with Heart card subscription. If you are not familiar with Craft with Heart, it is a subscription where you receive regular deliveries of cardmaking or scrapbooking supplies.  The only thing you need to add to the kit is adhesive. The kits are great for beginner and experienced crafters alike.  The card kit includes contents to create 24 cards, 2 each of 12 designs.  You all know that I rarely create the same card twice.  Mass production is just not my thing, unless it is a special request.  The card kits are perfect for me to create the sample card and then branch out with the contents to create card two.  All I added to card two, shown above, was a little bit of cardstock and a few sequins.  I based the card on the sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches

The card kits come with pre-printed card bases.  For my second take on the card design, I simply cut the card base and use the printed base just like you would pattern papers. I added in French Vanilla and New England Ivy cardstock to go along with the sketch design.  If you are more comfortable following along with step by step instructions (the kit  includes color instructions), here is how the card is intended to be created-

Both are great cards, the top version is just more my style.  Love my layers! Two Christmas cards down….and countless more to go! If you are interested in the Craft with Heart program, here is samples of the current card kit-

Each kit contains an exclusive stamp set, so you can easily change out the sentiments.  A  mini block and stamp pad are also included!  Here is a look at the current stamp set-
