Christmas Poinsettia

This gorgeous poinsettia easily stands alone. A touch of gold takes it up a level. I am playing along with the sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches. Here is the original sketch if you would like to play along-

My card is super simple to create. The poinsettia is layered with foam tape for additional dimension. Additional shading was added with a Copic marker. Gold glitter cardstock was cut at 1/8″ to follow the sketch. The sentiment, from the November Stamp of the Month, was heat embossed in gold.

All supplies by Close To My Heart, except where noted:

  • S2211 Snowflake Mandala Stamp Set (November Stamp of the Month)
  • 1385 White Daisy Cardstock
  • X6038 Candy Apple Cardstock
  • X6070 Pine Cardstock
