Color Throwdown #580

Super excited to announce that I am the Guest Star Stamper over at the Color Throwdown Challenge!  They are featuring a super fun palette of purple, green and gray. While, I am still in the dead of winter….it is getting to be springtime in my craftroom! The moment I saw the colors, I knew that flowers were in order.

My card was created with the Where Happiness Blooms set.  I adore this watering can image.  The size of the completed image, lets it stand alone on your projects. This adorable set is currently part of the Stamptacular Sale, and is available with Thin Cuts for only $20!

The main image consists of three layers.  I stamped my base layer in Heather ink, which gives you the watering can and outlines the flowers.  My leaves were stamped in Sweet Leaf ink.  The flowers were stamped in Lilac ink.  After inking my image, I added shading with Prismacolor pencils. I so love that the die for this image cuts out the inner parts as well.  I decided to do a take 2 on the Mojo Monday Sketch with my flowers-
