Con”GRAD”ulations!

Can you believe that May is only a few short days away? Graduation will be here before you know it! I had big plans of getting a head start on graduation cards this year, not so much….this makes card #2! I went with super simple and classic black and white, so the card can be used for any school.

I started by inking my cap image in Intense Black ink and die cutting with the coordinating die. I mounted the cap with 3-D foam tape for added dimension. My sentiment strip is also mounted with 3-D foam tape. I love the simple elegance of the dry embossed background. It seems I use this folder in some form on almost every graduation card.

I mixed up a few sentiments on the inside to create a custom sentiment. The stitched panel adds in the little extra detail. Super simple card, yet easy to reproduce if you need multiple graduation cards! (this would be me!)

All supplies by Close To My Heart, except where noted:
