Country Born

In one of my previous posts, I mentioned that I had yet to show you a sneak peek of my FAVORITE new stamp set by Close To My Heart.  Well, here it is!  Country Born.  I love this stamp set.  It has so many great images!  It is a set of ten stamps, featuring five country images and five phrases.  Being an equine enthusiast, I had to ink up the horse stamp first!  My card is based on the sketch challenge this week at The Paper Players.  Here is a look at the original sketch.  I tweaked the sketch a bit to go along with my images.

I chose the colors for my card from the Color Challenge this week at Dynamic Duos.

My piercing was completed with the help of the Close To My Heart ruler which comes with two sets of piercing holes.  My decorative shape was cut with the Cricut Artiste cartridge.

  2. Just love this! I assume maybe you have or had horses? I have owned them all my life (but not right now) and when I saw this stamp set I knew it was a "must have"! I loved the older Country Life stamp set but will be gone as of tonight! but at least I can get this new set. Love your cards as usual and will definitely plan to get this set!
