Crisp Air

I am so ready for crisp fall air! But, until is arrives, the new Crisp Air Collection from Close To My Heart will have to suffice. I spent the summer, literally baking in Texas. I get back to the mountains and it is unseasonable warm here. It is now actually cooler in Texas than Wyoming….crazy weather! I pulled out some new product to create my card for the sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches

You can easily dress this sketch up or down! It was the perfect opportunity to create with the new Crisp Air cardmaking kit. While, I am not much of a kit person…..I so love the exclusive offerings that are included in kits. For the Crisp Air Collection, it was the fun stamp and die set that was calling my name! The exclusive stamp sets are always popular and almost always are a sell out! Here is a look at the complete kit-

My card is super simple to create, just a few basic layered panels. I so love this abstract die, I cut it out three times in Pine cardstock and layered the images together for added dimension. My floral cluster is an image that I fussy cut from the Crisp Air PML cards and adhered with foam dots for additional dimension. My stamped sentiment is from the included stamp set. A few gold glitter gems finish off the card.

All supplies by Close To My Heart, except where noted:

  • G1262 Crisp Air Cardmaking Workshop Kit
  • X7284D Crisp Air Picture My Life Cards
  • Z2835 New England Ivy Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad (I have yet to add Pine to my collection)
  • Stitched Frame Die-Simon Says Stamp

I have also entered my card in the following challenges:

Thanks so much for stopping by!

  1. Beautiful fall floral bouquet, Alyssa! I feel your pain with the heat, it’s the same here in Idaho. Hopefully the fall cool down is coming soon! Thanks for sharing your pretty card with us at the Tic Tac Toe Challenge!
