Sympathy cards are always the hardest to create. I have found that clean and simple works the best. This card was super simple to create and came together within minutes. The bold sentiment and floral borders totally stand on their own. My stamps are from the soon to be retiring, Floral Borders & Sentiments stamp set.
To create my card, I stamped my images in Versamark ink and heat embossed in gold into a die cut panel of Sapphire cardstock. The die cut panel was mounted with 3-D foam tape onto a card base of Sapphire cardstock. A few gold sequins finish off the card.

All supplies by Close To My Heart, except where noted:

- X5957 Sapphire Cardstock
- Z891 Versamark Ink Pad

The gold embossing looks both beautiful and elegant and a perfect design for a sympathy card. Thank you for joining us at Allsorts challenge this week.

Thank you! Thanks so much for stopping by!
These cards look fabulous, I love them. How do you stamp the images – do you stamp each image one by one, arrange them all on a block and stamp once or do you use a stamping platform?
Hi Anita, I arrange all of my stamps at once on a stamping platform. I always double stamp with my VersaMark ink to insure great coverage for my embossing powder. By having all of the stamps arranged at once, it makes for super simple embossing or mass production if needed. Thanks for stopping by!
Gorgeous creation, thanks for joining Allsorts challenge, good luck.
Happy crafting
