Dynamic Duos #13

Time for a new color duo at Dynamic Duos!  Our color duo this week is Early Espresso & Crumb Cake.  I used Early Espresso & Cashmere, with Colonial White as my neutral.  Cashmere is a new color being released by Close To My Heart on August 1, 2012.  

 I love snowflakes and have been know to stamp them in any color scheme…..so snowflakes it is!  My 3-D snowflake was made with the Cricut Artiste Collection.  I added smooch spray to my stamped panels and the snowflake to make it a little more wintery.  It is hard to see the sparkle in the main pic, here is a close up view.

 No snowflake is complete without a Rhinestone Brad center!  This little brad brings alot of bling! I love the effect of the snowflake layered with the rosette.  I am thinking of making some of these for Christmas Ornaments.  All they would need is a little twine added to the back for a hanger.

I just started playing with the new mini pigment ink sets that are being released by Close To My Heart on August 1.  I wanted to attempt to show you the difference in the stamped images.  I am in love with the Pigment Ink Pad sets.  I really did not think they were a must have item…..but I have been won over by their creamy, smooth texture!  Each Cashmere circle above was stamped with Chocolate Ink.  The pigment ink gives so much more contrast.  Whether you are new to stamping or a seasoned stamper…..these sets will be a great addition to your stamping collection.  They will be available in sets of 10 to match the new color palettes.  The retail price is $19.95 per set….less than $2 per pad!
