Time for a new color duo at Dynamic Duos! The week we are having a monochromatic color duo, Always Artichoke and Certainly Celery. I chose New England Ivy & Sweet Leaf by Close To My Heart.
My card is based on the sketch challenge this week at Merry Monday–
My ornament design is cut with the Cricut Artiste cartridge. The ornament is quite glittery in person…but the glitter is not captured well in the photo. I cut my coordinating shapes and then ran the bottom layer through my Xyron. I then “thought” I applied Prisma Glitter to my image. Something seemed a little off with my prisma glitter though. Turns out, I grabbed the Iridescent Ice embossing powder! So, I heat set the image and we were good to go. The good thing about my “mistake” is I do not have to worry about any glitter rubbing off! I then added some bling to the top layer to finish it off. My card is made with all plain cardstock. I picked out a script background stamp and stamped the layers in coordinating ink.
Here is a look at some of the Christmas ornaments available on the Artiste cartridge.
My script stamp is from Universal Backgrounds, my most loved background stamp set.
