Exotic Flower Emboss Resist

I am back with another throwback stamp, Exotic Flower….brought back just for Stampaganza! Close To My Heart has brought back 27 retired stamp sets to be included in the Stampaganza, Buy 2, Get 1 Free Stamp Sale.  These sets are only available until July 31! The Exotic Flower set is perfect for backgrounds and can easily stand alone.  The stamp is 4″ x 4″ square.  I created this card with a simple emboss resist.  I stamped my image with Versamark ink and then clear embossed.  Before applying ink, I masked off my image with post it notes to give me a clean line on my finished image.  I then sponged on Raspberry, Lemon and Fern inks for the Color Throwdown Challenge–

I had originally planned to use my Distress Oxides…but found I did not have a really bright yellow.  I love the bright results that I achieved with my regular dye ink pads!  Here is a close up view of the Exotic Flower Stamp-
