Floral Backgrounds

The Paper Players is having a color challenge this week!  The colors were perfect for creating with the Floral Background Thin Cuts die. I went with Fern, Wisteria and a long retired unknown blue as stand ins for the color challenge.

To create my card, I started by die cutting the floral background panel die twice, once in Fern and once in Wisteria.  I then used the Fern panel as my base.  A little fussy cutting later, and the Wisteria flowers were applied to the Fern background.  I had originally planned on sponging on a blue background, but just happened to come across the light blue piece of pattern paper in my scrap drawer.  I decided it was a perfect fit!  Color was added to the center of the flowers with a Copic marker.

To showcase my sentiment, I layered the Stitched Scalloped Brackets Thin Cuts on the front, adding in a strip of Wisteria ribbon between the layers.  Overall a super simple card, with a great pop of color!
