Floral Snowflakes

Check out the size of that snowflake! I am so excited to see a new snowflake stamp set in the line up at Close To My Heart. I am all about the snowflakes! My thoughts are no two snow flakes are alike….therefore I need all the snowflake stamps! Say Hello to Floral Snowflakes. This is a large set and the catalog does not do the set justice. To give you a better idea of size, I have taken a pic on my 12×12 VersaMat.

I have used the largest snowflake on my card. This set will make some awesome scrapbook layouts and home décor pieces! This set is available with or without the coordinating Thin Cut dies. To create my card, I started by embossing the snowflake stamp in VersaMark ink and then heat embossed in white on Glacier cardstock.. After embossing, I inked the stamp up again in VersaMark ink and added a clear sparkle embossing powder over the top. The sparkle embossing powder gives it just the right amount of shimmer, with no mess from adding glitter! The snowflake was popped up with 3-D foam tape for added dimension and a bitty sparkle added to the center. My pattern paper strip is from the new Wonderland papers. The Merry Christmas sentiment is from the For All Occasions stamp set and is stamped in Glacier ink.
