Freshly Made Sketches #392

Another masculine card for Father’s Day. I found this stamp in a clearance bin….and it is perfect for the man who has stepped up to the plate and been a father to my youngest son. I greatly appreciate the time and patience he has shown my son.  The stamp could have easily been a photo image of them on a hunting outing.  My card is based on the sketch challenge this week at Freshly Made Sketches, with a very heavy emphasis from Jen’s card!

I stamped my image in pigment ink….I love the creamy smoothness you get from stamping with pigment ink. I live in a dry climate, so the ink dries almost as quickly as dye ink.  If you are in a more humid climate, you would need to set with a heat gun or emboss the image.  I added a bit of twine to add a more rustic feel to my wood tones.
