Freshly Made Sketches #40

This
week seems to be flying by…hard to believe it is Wednesday already.  With Wednesday, comes a new sketch challenge
at Freshly Made Sketches. I have really enjoyed stopping by everyone’s blog and viewing your creations for the sketch challenges.  Thanks so much for joining in each week.  If you have yet to join in…now is your chance.  Here is the super versatile sketch for this week-

I
decided to stay true to the sketch this week. Other than shortening my banner, my card is almost a direct copy.  All supplies by Close To My Heart, except where noted:

Z1686 Cricut Art Philosophy

D1452
Find Your Style (Retired)

D1283
Say It In Style

1388 Colonial White Cardstock

X7147B
Stella Paper Packet

Z2195 Lagoon Ink

Z2114
Cocoa Ink

Z1316 Cocoa Collection Ribbon

Lagoon Brads

Design Tips-My ovals were cut with the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge.  I stamped the dress form image in Cocoa ink and then sponged on Lagoon ink to keep with my color scheme.  My banner was handcut.

I have entered this card in the following challenges:

GingerloftVintage

Paper
Playtime
Anything Goes with Sentiment

Simon Says Stamp and Show… – a
bit of Brown

Thanks for stopping by!

  3. Allisa…your card is beautiful! I love the blue (teal) and brown combination! I love your dress form and how you've colorized it to coordinate with your background papers. The sketch that you have made your card from is a wonderful design. I also really love your wide brown ribbon going across the card. Thanks for sharing your card with us at Simon Says Stamp and Show. <3 Candy

  5. What a fantastic card! The colors are rockin' together, and I really love those mats you used for the oval! I need to see if I have a Cricut cartridge that cuts them this nicely!
