Freshly Made Sketches #400

It is a milestone event over at Freshly Made Sketches, they are celebrating their 400th sketch! They have been creating fabulous sketches for eight years! Many of my favorite cards have been created with FMS Sketches.  I took a walk down memory lane and I joined in on the challenges starting with Sketch #4!

The sketch this week was also Sketch #1 and #100.   I missed out on Sketch #1, but I was there for Sketch #100 as a Design Team Member.  Here is a look back at the card I created back in 2013-

I love the bold colors of my previous creation…I went with a softer version this go around.  My card is created with the Sweet Girl papers and the Where Happiness Blooms stamp set by Close To My Heart.  Both of these products are set to retire August 31.  The stamp set is super fun and would be a great addition to your collection.  Here is a look at the complete set-

Design Tip: I added a touch of pink to my silver gems with a Copic Sketch marker.  I added shimmer to my floral complements with a Shimmer Brush Pen.  My Thinking of You sentiment was previously square, I cut the sentiment apart to stamp it in a straight line.  I cut my stamps apart often, as they easily piece back together on your stamp block.

All supplies by Close To My Heart, except where noted:
