Freshly Made Sketches #403

I am not sure where September has gone too….but October is just around the corner.  I only send out a handful of Halloween cards…but those will need to be mailed out soon!  I knew when I saw the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches, that it would be perfect for a Halloween card.  Here is the original sketch design-

You might recognize my stamp set from years past.  It is the Cats & Bats Scrapbooking Stamp Set.  It is currently available for a limited time on my website. My website has a new section, titled Online Only under the Shop Tab.  The Online Only section features many retired items and specials that have been brought back for a limited time. My card is created with a few fun layers, most of which are stamped. I first masked off an area on my card base and stamped the grid background.  I then added a strip of black glitter cardstock for a little bling.  My final layer was my sentiment, mounted on foam tape for more dimension.  My spiderweb and spider are mounted with thin foam dots.  While, my card is very CAS, it has lots of dimension with the multiple layers. I added a tiny bit more bling, by adding some clear shimmer brush to my spider.
