I seem to be seeing plaid pumpkins everywhere and decided to give them a try. I am in love with the plaid paper from the Mix In Paper Packet, and thought it would be perfect! My card is based on the sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches–
I die cut the center of my plaid paper with a fancy rectangle from the Cricut Art Philosophy Collection. I then added a slightly smaller die cut in white to mount my pumpkins on. My pumpkins are from the Autumn Blessings stamp set. The Thin Cuts Bundle is currently sold out, but more are expected in mid-October. If you love fussy cutting, the stamp set is currently available. I did a little of both. I die cut my pumpkins and then added in some paper piecing with the plaid paper. I mounted the pumpkin strip on 3-D foam tape for added dimension.
My card also follows along with the challenge at The Paper Players. They are playing Tic-Tac-Toe this week. I am going with the diagonal-Fall, die-cut and pumpkin.

Love the monotone look using plaid, Allisa! Thanks for joining us over at the Double Trouble Challenge Blog!
Alissa – I love your card. I recently did some plaid pumpkins as well using the October SOTM. I will post my card soon!
Allisa, really love the way you pieced the plaid on the pumpkin and how you chose to make it monochromatic for the whole card…luv it and beautifully done. Thanks for sharing with us at Double Trouble.
Beautiful, Allisa! I love this plaid paper and the monochromatic style of the card. The font on the sentiment is awesome. Thank you for sharing with The Paper Players this week!
