I just received some fun, new to me, papers from Doodlebug Designs. I say new to me, because I have no idea when they were released. A fellow cardmaker was cleaning out her stash and I decided I “needed” them! I love the fun bright colors, which are perfect for a birthday card! The moment I saw the the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches, I knew it was a birthday card in the making! Here is the original sketch design-
My card is super simple and includes a fun mix of manufacturers! My candles are die cut from the Hello pattern paper with My Favorite Things dies. My “celebrate” sentiment is cut from the Close To My Heart Artbooking Cricut Collection. While, I am a huge fan of metal dies…..the Cricut is sooo versatile! The ability to be able to re-size my images is priceless! If you are in the market for any Cricut items, you can purchase them all through my affiliate link. I cut my Celebrate image sentiment three times and layered them together for more dimension. Added a little bling and called it done! Super simple and easy to mail!
