Freshly Made Sketches has a fun sketch this week. I have seriously thought about this card all week, but have not had time to put it together. And, it is certainly one of those cards that did not go as planned! I did manage to use up some more of my scraps though! Which is a huge plus. My vision for this card was using some large flowers that I had previously hand cut, the vision was great…..the putting to paper, not so much! I could not make it work to my liking, but in the end, I decided less was more! I was perfectly fine with having white space! The end result is a CAS thank you card with a pop of color! Here is the original sketch design-
I created my card with a floral print from the Craft On paper series. My white scallop shape was cut with the Cricut Artbooking Collection. My flowers were cut from the same Craft On paper. My sentiment is stamped onto layered fishtail dies from My Favorite Things.
