Freshly Made Sketches #42

Happy
Fourth of July to those of you in the states!  Hope you are enjoying a day of festivities with your family.  It seemed only fitting to make a patriotic card for this weeks Freshly Made Sketch since the challenge starts on the fourth!  Here is the week’s sketch-

All
supplies by Close To My Heart, except where noted:

Z1686 Cricut Art Philosophy Card

D1458 American Celebration

X7152B Superhero Paper Pack

1385 White Daisy Cardstock

Z2127 Holiday Red Ink

Z2134 Moonstruck Ink

Red Ribbon-SU

Baker’s Twine-Unknown

Spica Glitter Pen

Design Tips-My stars were cut and layered with the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge.  All of my background paper is handstamped. It is hard to tell from the photo, but I added a bit of bling to some of the stars with my Spica Glitter Pen.

I have entered this card in the following challenges:

Die
Cuttin’ Divas
 – Red White & Blue

Just Us Girls – Stars and Sparkle

Ribbon Carousel Challenge – Independence Day

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure and stop by FMS to see the other DT creations!

  1. Lovely patriotic card and take on the sketch! The pattern paper really gives movement and a fun element to the card. Happy 4th!
