Freshly Made Sketches #420

I just love this pretty bouquet of flowers in the February Stamp of the Month.  The possibilities are endless. I decided to go with a bright color scheme for a cheery Thank You card. My card is based on the sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches–

I colored my bouquet with a variety of Prismacolor pencils and blended them out with Gamsol. I fussy cut my image and popped it up with 3-D tape for added dimension.  For the background circle, I randomly stamped a background stamp from the Strokes of an Artist stamp set in a circular shape.

I seriously struggle with random swatches and splatter of color.  The Strokes of an Artist set is pure genius for me!  Currently Close To My Heart is having a Stamptacular Sale, and this set is included!  You can add this set to your collection for only $12.25!
