Freshly Made Sketches #422

I so love stamped images of fresh bouquets of flowers.  The real thing, not so much.  I will take a potted plant over a bouquet of flowers any day!  I just hate to see the beauty of the flowers diminish!  At least with the potted plants, they have a chance of surviving.  Unless the cats decide otherwise…  I created this cheery get well card for the sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches

My card is created with a fun mix of products.  My outer frame is die cut with a stitched rectangle die.  My gingham paper is from the Craft On Paper Collection.  My trellis background is cut with the Cricut Artbooking Collection at 3.75″.  The gorgeous bouquet is from the February Stamp of the Month, Cherishing Her.  My image and sentiment are stamped in Intense Black ink.  The flowers are colored with Prismacolor pencils and blended with Gamsol.  The bouquet is popped up with 3-D foam tape for added dimension. A piece of white twine finishes it off!

All supplies by Close To My Heart, except where noted:

  2. So pretty. Like your coloring & arrangement; especially the trellis look with gingham. Thank u for sharing details. I have the CTMH Cricut cart, stamps and need to do my paper stash for the gingham.
