Freshly Made Sketches #429

A little dose of cheer to brighten your day!  I created a quick and simple card for the sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches.  I am fairly certain that I placed my clouds farther apart in my mind.  Let’s just say I ended up condensing the sketch a little!  Here is the original sketch design-

This is about as close to a one layer card that I get!  I placed a line of purple tape on my panel to create my straight edge.  I then applied distress oxide inks in Candied Apple, Fossilized Amber and Faded Jeans to create the rainbow.  I die cut my clouds and sun and applied in layers with 3-D foam tape.  My sentiment is stamped in Intense Black ink.

All supplies by Close To My Heart, except where noted:

D1476 Card Chatter-Sympathy-Retired

1385 White Daisy Cardstock

Honey Cardstock-Retired

Z4189 Intense Black Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad

Candied Apple Distress Oxide Ink-Ranger
Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide Ink-Ranger
Faded Jeans Distress Oxide Ink-Ranger
Sun/Clouds Die-MFT
Stitched Frame Die-Simon Says Stamp

I have also entered my card in the following challenges:

AAA Cards-Made in Minutes

STAMPlorations-Anything CAS Goes w/optional Yellow Twist

Thanks so much for stopping by!
