Freshly Made Sketches #468

I had big plans of crafting all weekend….but one thing lead to another and no crafting for me!  My initial thought was I would craft on the weekend and clean on Monday.  I so wanted to join in on the Freshly Made Sketches challenge that I decided cleaning could wait another day!  Here is the original sketch design if you want to play along-

My stamps are from the new Whole Latte Love stamp set with coordinating Thin Cuts.  I just love the sentiments in this set and you can easily customize your coffee cup to whatever suites you!  The set is available with or without Thin Cuts, here is a look at the complete set-

My card was super simple to create with just a few layers.  I stamped my sentiments in Espresso Pigment Ink and then carefully applied clear embossing powder on top and gold glitter on the bottom.  There is enough spacing between the words to make this super easy to do! My coffee cup was stamped onto White Daisy cardstock, with the sleeve stamped on the current Mix In paper.  I added a few shadows with Copics and popped up the cup with 3-D foam tape for added dimension.  A trio of gold glitter gems finish off the card.

All supplies by Close To My Heart, except where noted:

  • Z3919 Whole Latte Love Stamp Set w/ Thin Cuts Bundle
  • X9023 Mix In Paper Packet (Jan-Feb)
  • 1385 White Daisy Cardstock
  • X9024 Mix In Coordinating Cardstock
  • Z8003 Espresso Exclusive Pigment Ink Pad
  • Z2088 Clear Embossing Powder
  • Gold Glitter Embossing Powder-Hero Arts
