Freshly Made Sketches #47

Jen
has a great sketch for us this week at Freshly Made Sketches.  I am head over heels for the new Dakota paper line by Close To My Heart.  The pack has not even made it to the paper shelf!  The wood grain is by far my favorite….but the other sheets complement it so well!  Here is the original sketch-

All of my shapes were cut and matted with the Cricut Artiste cartridge.  I love the contrast of the black matting.  I hand tied the black twine to mimic barb wire.

  1. So cute. My friend Heather Jane did the same thing with that hemp. I wouldn't have thought to do that. Love it!

  2. Oh I love this card – it's so rich looking – even with it's country sort of papers. You've done a fabulous job inside and out.
