I love the mix of Glacier and Candy Apple for an unexpected color combo for Christmas. The red really gives a pop of color against the Glacier print. My card is a slimline version of the sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches. While the sketch featured is a square design, it totally works as a slimline card as well. Here is the original sketch design-
There is actually no stamping required for this creation. My sentiment and berry clusters are from the coordinating sticker sheet that is available with the White Pines Collection. I am sure the Merry Christmas sentiment was designed with scrapbook pages in mind, but it works fabulous on a slimline card! This gorgeous collection is on sale until August 31, 2021!
To create my card, I cut my Glacier cardstock with the Diagonal Stripes Slimline Thin Cut. I matted this piece in Candy Apple cardstock. I really only wanted to utilize the stitched border, so I cut my pattern paper to cover up the diagonal stripes that are featured on the die. The Merry Christmas sticker was matted with Candy Apple as well for an additional pop of color. The berry clusters were applied with 3-D foam tape for additional dimension. A few matte silver sequins finish off the card.

I love this design as a slimline. <3 And this is one of my favorite color combos for a Christmas card! The berry clusters highlight the bold sentiment perfectly!
