Freshly Made Sketches #506

I was in need of a masculine Thank You card and the sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches was a perfect fit. I quickly envisioned this card in my head, but let’s just say putting it to paper took a tad bit longer! Here is the original sketch design-

I wanted my Thank You card to be deer themed and in that perfect design in my head….I had a buck die in my stash! I could have sworn it existed, but I could only locate a moose and elk. Glanced through my stamps, no solid images there either. Cricut to the rescue, I was able to get the perfect image in way less time than I had previously spent going through my supplies! I cut the image three times and stacked them together for additional dimension. I am a Cricut affiliate, so if you need any Cricut supplies or images, clicking through my link is greatly appreciated.

I cut a variety of foliage with dies from Spellbinders and adhered those directly to my layered circle dies. My deer head was popped up with 3-D foam tape for added dimension. The stitched stripes are cut pieces from the Stitched Rectangle Frames Thin Cuts. The gorgeous plaid, which my card is based on is from the As You Grow Collection. It is a masculine theme on one side and feminine on the other!
