Freshly Made Sketches #54

Our sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches is brought to us by Jennifer Timko.  The moment I saw it, I knew it was a snowflake card in the making.  I especially like making snowflake cards in non traditional colors.  Any color of the rainbow is fair game for me, when it comes to snowflakes!  I went with a rustic look for this card.

My designer paper is from the Christmas Cottage Collection by Teresa Collins. Fairly certain I purchased the pack just for this rustic snowflake and woodgrain paper!  My snowflakes were cut with the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge. These are my favorite snowflakes for layering!  There is even a stamp set to match!  Since I cut my snowflakes with pattern paper, I kept the stamping to the inside of the card.

For those that are interested in measurements.  My card is 5″ x 5″ in size.  My large snowflake and layer were cut at 3″.  The smaller snowflake and layer were cut at 1 3/4″.

My sentiment is a sneak peek of the upcoming October Stamp of the Month, Very Merry Christmas!
