Freshly Made Sketches #67

We are back with a fun new sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches!  I originally had planned to follow the sketch almost exactly with hearts from the Whooo’s Your Valentine Kit promotion.  While clearing off my desk to make the card…..I saw my trio of roses stamp from the January Stamp of the Month, Happy Valentine’s. I thought the cluster of roses would fit perfectly into the sketch theme!  Here is the original sketch for you to design with:

I so wish I had mad coloring skills….but think I must still be in kindergarten art class!  Hopefully in the new year I can advance my coloring skills.  I colored this trio with watercolor pencils.  I actually only colored on the shaded areas of the image and then pulled the color out to the rest of the image with a blending pen.  Thanks to the Close To My Heart designers….at least it appears I have some coloring skills!  I once again layered my roses, love the effect of the added dimension.
