Freshly Made Sketches #679

No idea where the weekend went….I seem to have spent way more time cleaning and organizing than crafting! At least some of the cleaning and organizing was in the craft room, so it sorta counts as crafting! I pulled out some fun elements from Simple Stories to create a thank you card, based on the sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches

I have so enjoyed the spring like weather we have had the past few days, but it is seriously just an early April Fool’s joke….as more snow is on the way! The only flowers I will have anytime soon are in the craft room. I pretty much followed the sketch exactly, I popped up my bird image with 3D foam tape for added dimension and added a few gold flecked enamel dots for a touch of bling.

Supply List:

  • S2306 Botanical Shadows Stamp Set-Close To My Heart
  • Simple Stories Fresh Air Collection
  • Sapphire Ink-Close To My Heart
  • Stitched Frame-My Favorite Things
  • White & Foil Enamel Drops-Taylored Expressions

I have also entered my card in the following challenges:

Thanks so much for stopping by!

  1. Love this pretty little bird, Allisa, as well as that fun FMS sketch! Even if there is snow on the way, we can enjoy spring inside our craft room, right?! Thanks for playing with my Tic Tac Toe challenge this week!

  2. Allisa, you have succeeded in using three of my favorite things on this amazing card: gingham, dots, and birds! It’s such a cheery card. What a great mix of papers! The strip of floral paper is a great detail. This card makes my heart happy! Thank you for playing with The Paper Players this week!
