Freshly Made Sketches #94

Linda has a great CAS sketch for us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!  The moment I saw the sketch, I knew I wanted to use some bold background paper.  The papers in the new Sarita paper pack were perfect for the occasion!  You could easily change out the sentiment to make this a card for any occasion.  Here is the original sketch design-

I  kept the inside clean as well, just adding a strip of the same background paper along the bottom!

All supplies by Close To My Heart, except where noted:

D1534 Patterned Pennants Stamp Set

X7171B Sarita Paper Pack (avail 8/1/13)

1388 Colonial White Cardstock

Z1853 Aqua Dots (avail 8/1/13)

Z2502 Enchantment Pigment Inks

Z821 Clear Embossing Powder

BV29 Copic Sketch Marker

Design Tip: The Aqua Dots do not come in Outdoor Denim, I colored one of my dots with a Copic Sketch marker for the Outdoor Denim color.  My sentiment was inked with Outdoor Denim pigment ink and clear embossed.

I have entered my card in the following challenge:

Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope to see your creation this week at Freshly Made Sketches!

  1. Very nice!

All of your posts have got me wondering what you do with all of your creations? I have noticed how much my personal pile of cards and 3D items are piling up and I need to decide what to do with it all. Looking for ideas now. lol 😉
