My favorite thing about crafting is the ability to make unique creations, tailored to the recipient. I dug deep into the paper stash to create a gamer themed birthday card. My card is based on the sketch challenge at TGIF Challenges–
The gamer themed paper is from the Boy Oh Boy paper pad by Carta Bella. I have had this in my collection for many years, so chances are it is long retired. The vast majority of my card is created with retired goodies. This is why we have collections, right?
In keeping with my love of dimension, my circles were applied with 3-D foam tape for added dimension. I die-cut extra layers for my game controller to mimic the actual button controls. A few stars were cut from the same paper pack to use as coordinating embellishments.
