Glory to God

I was in need of a Christmas card in the traditional spirit of the season that could be easily mass produced.  I went with this clean and simple style.  A simple matted card with gold embossing.  They are all being mailed, so I needed to keep the bulk to a minimum, which resulted in the flat bow.  The starting point for my card was the sketch challenge this week at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown.

All supplies by Close To My Heart, except where noted:

D1483 Glory to God

D1520 Ornamental Cheer

1273 Desert Sand Cardstock

1275 Outdoor Denim Cardstock

Z891 VersaMark Ink Pad

Z668 Gold Embossing Powder

Gold Ribbon-Unknown

I have also entered my card in the following challenges:

Card Makin Mamas-Silver or Gold

Catered Crop-Silver or Gold

Craft A Scene-Winter Scene

Flourishes-Use Gold or Silver

Jellypark Challenges-Stars are Brightly Shining

Jingle Belles-Anything Goes

Sisterhood of Crafters-Embossing

Speedy & Friends-Christmas, no red or green

Twist of Faith-Blue

  7. What a pretty card…I love seeing cards with the Nativity scene. Sometimes I'm thankful that I have to watch the thickness of my cards, if I'm mailing out…helps push me in the CAS arena!

Thanks for sharing your card with us in our Silver/Gold Challenge, Allisa, at Card Makin' Mamas!

Be sure to watch for our last challenge of the year this Friday!
