H2H Lucky To Have You Challenge

The challenge this week at Heart 2 Heart Challenges is to create something along the theme of “Lucky to Have You”.  You can step up your challenge by using the color green!  I took this challenge literally and made a card for a special someone to tell them that I am lucky to have them and did the card in monochromatic green!

All supplies are by Close To My Heart, except where noted:

Z1686 Cricut Art Philosophy Collection

C1401 Friendship Alphabet

C1494 Card Word Puzzle

D1482 Love Life

1385 White Daisy Cardstock

X5918 Topiary Cardstock

Z2155 Topiary Ink

Z2255 Topiary Re-Inker

Z1732 Seam Binding Ribbon

Z1327 Blue & Green Sparkles

G99 Olive Copic Sketch

All shapes on this card were cut with the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge.  The layered shapes are from page 37 of the booklet.  The hearts are from page 26.  I cut eight hearts at 1 ¼”.   I inked the edges with Topiary Ink.  I attached four hearts directly to the cardstock.  I then scored the remaining 4 hearts down the middle.  After scoring, I bent in half to give them lift.  I put glue down the center and attached on top of the flat hearts.  The stem is part of the branch from page 35.  I put a sparkle in the middle to finish off the shamrock.  I colored my green sparkle with my Copic marker to match the color more closely to my cardstock.

If you do not yet have the Art Philosophy cartridge, it is a must have!  You can even get the collection for FREE in the month of March when sign up to be a Close To My Heart consultant!  Please contact me if you would like more information on joining Close To My Heart. You can also sign up directly here.
