based my card on the sketch this week at Retro Sketches.
supplies by Close To My Heart:
Card Word Puzzle
Say It in Style
Dotty For You Paper
White Daisy Cardstock
Grey Wool Cardstock
Crème Brulee Cardstock
Grey Wool Ink
Garden Green Marker
Sunkiss Yellow Marker
White Daisy Embossing Powder
Seam Binding Ribbon
Design Tip-I stamped
three of the flower images and heat embossed.
I added more color with the Sunkiss Yellow Marker. I then selectively
cut and layered the flowers for added dimension. I added pearls to the center of the flower
and then coated with liquid glass to make sure they stay put! (This card is
being mailed, which calls for extra adhesive!)
I stamped the leaves on Grey Wool cardstock and then outlined in Garden
Green. I wanted to stay with my yellow/gray
color theme, but give a hint of green for the leaves.
I have also entered this card in the following challenges:
2 Sisters – Anything goes
