H2H Mother’s Day Card

Wow,
can you believe it is May already???  To
start off the month, H2H Challenges is having a Mother’s Day Challenge.  Create a project for Mother’s Day using Close
To My Heart products.  Be sure and stop by the site to see the other fabulous creations.

based my card on the sketch this week at Retro Sketches.

Design Tip-I stamped
three of the flower images and heat embossed. 
I added more color with the Sunkiss Yellow Marker. I then selectively
cut and layered the flowers for added dimension.  I added pearls to the center of the flower
and then coated with liquid glass to make sure they stay put! (This card is
being mailed, which calls for extra adhesive!) 
I stamped the leaves on Grey Wool cardstock and then outlined in Garden
Green.  I wanted to stay with my yellow/gray
color theme, but give a hint of green for the leaves.

  3. This is so gorgeous. That flower image is one of my faves but I never would have thought of layering like this. I've been hoarding that yellow/grey paper for a special project. I love how you put this all together!
