Harbour Sympathy

Meet Harbour, one of the new colors that is being released September 1. I love the gorgeous deep tone that is perfect for fall creations. I paired the gorgeous color with the soon to be retired Floral Borders & Sentiments stamp set for a quick and easy sympathy card. In case you have not heard the news, Close To My Heart will be undergoing a catalog transition September 1. Almost all current stamps and pattern papers will retire as of August 31, with an all new product line being released September 1! Exciting times! The Floral Borders & Sentiments stamp set is one of my most used sets. The set is sadly retiring August 31, be sure and get it today if you would like to add it to your collection! Here is a look at the complete set-

Close To My Heart cardstock is two toned. You get a lighter tone of the color on the reverse side. I took advantage of this feature and used the tone on tone look for my card. I stamped my sentiment in VersaMark ink on the lighter side and heat embossed in silver. I die cut the embossed panel with a stitched die and mounted it to the darker side of the cardstock with 3-D foam tape for added dimension. A few sequins finish off the card.
